I decided early on in the pandemic of 2020 to stay informed about the coronavirus but also to keep an index of newspapers, magazines, Gov. DeWine’s press conference slides, www.worldometer.com calculations, Facebook entries, cartoons and such regarding the pandemic.  

I started with my two local newspapers (The Columbus Dispatch and Delaware Gazette) on March 22, 2020, keeping a log of each headline each day. I also added an entry for other ways to find the article (for example:. author, conference, or team) if not listed in the headline. 

I saw that this was going to take up some space in my den and on my hard drive so I let the Delaware County Historical Society (DCHS) know what I was doing to see if they would be interested in the finished product. They were interested, which helped me plan for the boxes and their contents.
