A MAJORITY of Malaysians are house-proud. They give full care and attention to their abode when it comes to turning their house into a dream home.

Gone are the days when house owners are dependent on advice or ideas from contractors to renovate their home.

“Consumers are becoming more knowledgeable and they know exactly what they want when choosing tiles for their home,’’ said Jubin BMS Sdn Bhd managing director Ang Kwee Ping.

He said the knowledge, ideas or inspiration come from social media platforms, magazines or during their travel overseas.

Founded in 1990, Jubin BMS is one of Malaysia’s leading and trusted tile, stone mosaic and sanitary wares suppliers and retailers.

The company carries products and brands from all over the world, such as porcelain tiles, ceramic wall tiles, natural stones, mosaics, wood tiles, large format porcelain slabs, sanitary wares, fittings and accessories.

The company currently has showrooms and outlets at 13 locations in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Johor, Negri Sembilan and Sarawak.

“We offer our customers an extensive range of tiles in terms of designs and styles to choose from to suit their preference and budget,” said Ang.

He said the Jubin BMS retail sales team is well-versed on the products to better serve clients and attract new ones.

The sales team’s duty is to provide a seamless and enjoyable experience for customers who patronise the outlets and assist them fully.

“We can provide illustrations to customers who want to visualise how the house will look like using our items for their renovation project,” he said.

“We are also among the first in the Johor Baru market to introduce the Marmo Grande or TV console concept for landed properties or high-rise living,” he said.
