MY toy! Hilarious moment Oliver the cat takes over baby bouncer and leaves child to play on the floor

  • Oliver the cat was filmed playing in a child’s bouncer in Algona, Iowa, on June 27
  • The baby girl contented herself by playing with toys on the floor nearby
  • The cat began swatting and biting the toys hanging from the bouncer

This is the moment a playful cat made himself at home in a baby’s bouncer – leaving the little girl to play on the carpet.

Oliver the tabby cat was filmed at his owner’s home in Algona, Iowa, after he clambered into the bouncer just as the baby’s parents were about to put her in there.

Oliver then amused himself by clawing at the toys dangling over the play center, which is designed to stimulate infants rather than pets.

This is the hilarious moment a cat invaded a baby bouncer in the living room of a house in Algona, Iowa, on June 27

It then pawed at the child's toys hanging above the bouncer

The footage, shared online on June 30, shows the cat clearly enjoying the noises the different toys made as he swiped his paws at them.

One delighted viewer said: ‘Now the baby needs to chase a laser light and they will be even.’

Another described the play center as the cat’s own ‘kitty Disney park’.

A third said: ‘Cats like the toys that come with kids don’t they? Just claim it for themselves!’

The unnamed baby girl did not appear to be concerned as she continued to play with other toys on the floor, where a second cat kept a watchful eye.

The cat’s owner said: ‘The cat’s name is Oliver. We think he was a baby in a past life.

‘Our baby girl was just about to go into the bouncer and the cat climbed in and started playing.

‘He stayed in there for a good 10 minutes and even went back in after we took him out. It was hilarious!’
